Abstract
In the article the problem of correlation of revolution and colonization was studied. Philippines had demonstrated the evolution of its political administration – from Hispanic colony to the Republic and from Philippine republic to the American colony, from 1890th to the beginning of the XX century. The key role of some Philippine political leaders was demonstrated. The author investigated the question about American and Philippine relations during this period.
