In the article the authors define the content of activity of the heads of an organization on preventing and resolving organizational conflicts, organizational and management principles and directions of improving of the procedures of preventing and settlement of conflicts in the organization are formulated. The authors analyze the place and role of conflict prevention technology in the system of management by the organization as a constituent part of the personnel policy which requires the availability of principles, methods, programs and mechanisms that allow to reveal the reasons of conflicts among the employees and also minimize the destructive consequences of the conflict. The authors give the example of the program of training on prevention of conflicts and stress in the organization.
