Abstract
In the article our own interpretation of the history of the theory of usefulness in connection with the fact that to the elements of economics that break the orderliness of science and don’t allow to produce a uniform conception of valuables and become an effective methodological basis for specific economic sciences ideas about usefulness of valuables which exist from antiquity, developed within the context of political economy but in modern conditions according to different reasons they don’t correspond to the level of development of other elements of system can be referred to is briefly presented. More elaborately we view our suggestions on neocardinalist improvement of the theory of usefulness and connection with consistent marginal theory of classical theory of value.
