Abstract
The article analyses the existing legislative basis for the formation of regional powers in the sphere of foreign economic activity, as well as the practice of their implementation. The author shows examples of relevant documents of regional foreign economic policy and analyses administrative units, which coordinate and regulate development of foreign economic activity in different regions of Russia.
