Abstract
The paper analyses the influence of moral philosophy on theoretical constructions of modern economic theory. Attracting philosophical ideas of John Rawls, the authors reveal the ethical basis of economic activity. Special attention is paid to the analysis of ideal model «honest individual» as one of the variants of theoretical concept of «homo economicus».
