Abstract
In this article the mechanism of functioning of oil refining enterprises of the Republic of Bashkortostan is presented. The main questions connected with sustainable development of enterprises of oil refining, principles and methods of their functioning are considered. The main problems in the field are investigated. The further directions of improvement are given.
