Abstract
In the present article linguistic and extra linguistic sources of synonymic expansion of semantic field of human features in the dialects of Birsk region of the Republic of Bashkortostan are analyzed. The special attention is given to likely causes of concentration of derivative elements in the nuclear field zone, leading onomasiological mark, which is taken as a basis for derivative designations of qualities comes to light.
