The journal «Juridical Analytical Journal» was founded in 2001 by the Department of Civil Procedure and Business Law, Samara State University. Certificate of registration of the journal PI No. 77-7591 dated 19.03.2001, issued by the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Press, Broadcasting and Mass Communication, ISSN 1810-4088.

Since 2015, due to the reorganization of the university and the change of the founder, the journal «Juridical Analytical Journal» was re-registered under the same name. The certificate of registration of the journal PI No. FS 77-78550 dated 10.07.2020 was issued by the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technologies and Mass Communications.

Also, since 2020, the journal's publishing policy and editorial board have been changed.
