Development of numerical models of working process in fuel auger-centrifugal pump

Abstract

The issues compiling numerical computational model based on the method of finite volumes are discussed in this paper. This model is used to measure axial force acting on the rotor of auger-centrifugal stage of combined fuel pump. Model verified by comparing the calculated and experimental characteristics of the discharge. The paper discusses the impact of some design parameters auger-centrifugal stage on the value of the axial force.
