Tests of the low emission combustion chambers compartment with pressure and pressure–air assist atomizers

Abstract

For the purpose of improvement of ecological and resource characteristics of the existing civil aircraft a front module of a combustion chamber with a combined centrifugal air-atomizing burner is developed. High completeness of fuel combustion, satisfactory range of steady burning, low emission of unburned hydrocarbons, carbon oxide and reduced emission of nitric oxide in the modified version of a combustion chamber with a combined atomizer is experimentally confirmed.
