Experimental reserch of TEM-horn antenna with inhomogeneous dielectric

Bobreshov A., Kretov P., Sbitnev N., Uskov G.

Abstract

There proposed a technique for improving linear TEM-horn antenna directivity and matching by filling its inner space with inhomogeneous dielectric medium. The exact shape of the medium permittivity’s spatial distribution was chosen from an assumption of the whole wavefront being a result of straight-line emission from a lumped phase center. The Lichtenecker’s formula for two-phase composite material was used to approximate permittivity’s smooth transitions with a complex punched structure of a solid dielectric. This punched structure was manufactured using a 3D-printer, and its impact on antenna’s quality characteristics was experimentally measured.

Self-consistent boundary-value problem for the adjoint Helmholtz equation

Raevskii A., Raevskii S., Sedakov A.

Abstract

The self-consistent boundary-value problem of excitation is considered. In that problem the source function standing on the right side of Helmholtz equation is a solution of the homogeneous boundary value problem for this equation. It is shown that such a source along with our own wave (oscillation) creates an attached wave (oscillation). Since these waves (vibrations) exist only in the presence of a source of a designated type, it is proposed to classify them as connected to the supply.

Shear waves in a circular gap structure of piezoelectric crystals with rotating cylinder

Maryshev S., Shevyakhov N.

Abstract

The circumferential propagation of shear-axial waves in a circular gap structure of 6mm(4mm)-class symmetry piezoelectric crystals with rotating piezoelectric cylinder are considered. Generally the curvature of gap boundaries leads to attenuation waves due to radiation in environment. It is shown that with excess of gap wave phase velocity to linear velocity of surface of rotating cylinder the stationary propagation of gap waves is possible.

The colors in television and method of reduction

Lozhkin L., Neganov V.

Abstract

Shows the sources of color distortions in the body-color vision, and that the chromaticity coordinates, which are located inside the triangle color gamut screen television may play colorimetricheski exactly, i. e. without color distortion. We propose a method for implementing a television system with a colorimetriction accurately reproduced color images.

Fractional Laplasians and propagation of waves in three-dimensional space as quantum process

Potapov A., Rassadin A.

Abstract

In this paper it is shown that in the whole range of problems of waves propagation there is hidden feynmanon. We call by ‘feynmanon’ the quantum object moving along fractal trajectories in phase space of dynamical system related with wave equation considered by means of Feynman integral. Methodology of introduction of feynmanons is quite general and is closely connected with nonlocality of fractional Laplasians.

Comparative assessment of methods for the analysis of open dielectric waveguides with arbitrary cross section

Raevskii S., Sedakov A., Titarenko A.

Abstract

Comparative assessment of methods for the analysis of open dielectric waveguides is presented. It is noted that only in the case of open dielectric waveguides with cylindrical coaxial layers formulation of the boundary value problem in closed form is possible. It is shown that the spectral method, which uses the autonomous decomposition of the components of the field, allows for a rigorous calculation of the open dielectric waveguides of any cross section.

Preservation of species and conditions of evolution

Volobuev A., Antipova T.

Abstract

Distinction of two opposite directed the time processes is considered: preservations of species and evolutions. On the basis of Hardy - Weinberg law the analysis of the reasons of the species preservation is submitted. With the help of a Green’s function for a population it is shown that at mutational influence on a population there is a disappearance of a mutational influence result for 4 - 5 generations. Evolutionary process occurs at infringement of the Hardy - Weinberg law due to a dot mutation of the different sex descendants of one female individual. Conditions at which occurrence of a new species is possible are submitted.
