Abstract
The article conducts SWOT analysis of the socio-economic development of the Samara
Region. Strengths and weaknesses, threats and opportunities in the development of the
region, main activities, reasons for increase and decrease are shown.It is noted that in the
region there are preconditions for economic growth. The impact on GRP of a large number
of key macroeconomic factors in 2015-2016 is reflected.
