Abstract

This article presents the results of the analysis of the food industry indicators and their relationship with different indicators of socio-economic sphere on the example of the Volga Federal District. The canonical correlation method was used in the analysis of the research, which allows one to assess the extend of strong interrelationship. Such studies as had been carried out showed that there were groups of indicators with a high level of interrelationship and canonical variables were also formed.
