Abstract
In the article the notion of scientific and technological potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan is defined more exactly. On the basis of statistical data the technological potential of machine-building industry of Kazakhstan is analyzed. The basic principles that influence badly the development of native scientific and technological market, innovative infrastructure and formation of the system of process of commercialization of technologies are viewed.
