Abstract
In the article monetary policy of the Central bank of Russia over the last 5 years is analyzed. The conclusion is made that on the first stage of regulation of economic processes strict monetary policy and policy of «sterilization» of banking sphere conditioning adjustment of extensive currency intervention on external and internal markets takes place. The research of indicators confirms that the Central Bank of Russia uses standard methods over the control of the level of inflation and the wrong definition of the growth of inflation leads to the outdated measures of cooperation which worsens enough already complex situation in the national economy.
