Abstract
The main idea of the article is that Russia played large role in the developing of system of international relations in such regions as Eastern, Central and South-Eastern Asia. Author wrote about some events of the history of international relations in Pacific Ocean region from 17 to 19 century. Vain attempts of Russian government to open Japan to the international trade during long historical period in the 17 century were discussed in the text. They were so called Shpanberg and Laksman missions in 1739 and 1792. The first Russian mission in China was said to be so called Petlin mission in 1618. In the article the question of both Russian-Mongolian and RussianSiam relations was also discussed.
