Abstract
The article deals with the problem of democracy in the United States of America in the XIX Сentury. This problem was connected with A. de Tocqueville and his famous monograph “Democracy in America”, published during the presidency of Andrew Jackson in the year of 1835. The main idea of the article is that American democracy was studied by the French author, who made some real models of the development of political system in the USA.
