Abstract
In this article the author defines the place of factoring and factoring relationships within the financial system. Various scientific approaches to the definition of factoring in modern economics are identified. The influence of factoring relations on subjects of various levels of economy and their features are defined. It is proved that factoring promotes development of trade relations on all levels of economy. Features and advantages of factoring for principal participants of factoring transaction: suppliers, buyers and financial institutions are singled out. Advantages of factoring as a form of business for banks and factoring companies are described.
