Abstract
In the article the complex of priority tasks in the sphere of maintenance of equipment for liquidation of a different kind of waste elimination is defined. Among the most important factors of success in solving the problems of improving maintenance the formation of strategic priorities on the basis of analysis of competitive positions, systematization of possible organizational and technical reserves, investment in the training of employees and development of their professional skills are singled out. Priority directions of organization of total productive maintenance are increasing of degree of mechanization, implementation of advanced experience and high technologies, and also continuous advanced training of engineering and scientific personnel. It is noted that the study of gathered experience of implementation of progressive standards of management allows to ensure realization of strategic priorities of development of production systems.
