Abstract
The paper is devoted to understanding of essence and historical forms of unitary federalism. When comparing different existed in the history types of federal structure, the author reveals the originality of Russian unitary federalism. Special attention is paid to the understanding of prospects of transformation of unitary federalism in the context of globalization.
