Abstract
This article presents the principles of improving the effectiveness of functioning of regional integrated industrial structures on the basis of informatization. The main factors, the questions of creation and development of the strategy of informatization, principles and methods of its organization and construction are considered. The basic problems in this area are shown. Further areas for improvement are presented.
