All submissions undergo a rigorous review process in order to maintain a high-quality publication. The Editor-In-Chief and Deputy Editor-In-Chief will assign the management of the peer review process to one of the Editors who is familiar with the subject area. Characteristics of the peer review process are as follows:

  • Simultaneous submissions of the same manuscript to different journals is not allowed.
  • Manuscripts with contents outside the scope will not be considered for review.
  • Papers will be refereed by at least 2 experts as suggested by the editorial board. The corresponding author will then be informed of the reviewers’ comments.
  • In addition, Editors will have the option of seeking additional reviews when needed. Authors will be informed when Editors decide that further review is required.
  • All publication decisions are made by the journal's Editors-in-Chief on the basis of the referees' reports and Editor’s recommendations. Authors of papers that are not accepted for publications are notified promptly.
  • If the manuscript is accepted, it will be copy edited, and a galley proof will be sent to the corresponding author for the final correction and approval.
  • All submitted manuscripts are treated as confidential documents. We expect our Board of Reviewing Editors and reviewers to treat manuscripts as confidential material as well.
