Abstract
In this article approaches to evaluation of effectiveness of tourist and recreational complexes are systematized. Analysis of available in the scientific literature methodological approaches to the assessment of economic efficiency of tourist destinations is carried out. Method of assessment of influence of tourist and recreational complexes on social and economic situation of an area, taking into account the depth of influence of the complex on the regional economy with the detachment of regional and municipal levels, as well as the level of an individual enterprise is suggested. The results of assessment of impact of functioning of tourist and recreational cluster «Salt Lakes» (Orenburg Region, Sol-Iletsk) on socioeconomic status of the territory are presented.
