Elasticdamping,amplitude-frequency and mass-overall characteristics of three types of Russian and German vibrationinsulators are obtained and compared. On the basis of these results the main conclusions on different types ofvibration insulators are formulated and recommendations for the application of MR vibration insulators in theworld practice of vibration protection are given.
