Abstract

During operation of Strela LV the levels of acoustic loads, affecting the LV head section and payload accommodated inside, have been experimentally determined when launching LV out of the  silo and  in the phase of maximum dynamic pressure,.

The results of acoustic loads measurements were used for generation and verification of Strela LV head sections models.

These models became the basis of procedure for calculation of the acoustic field affecting a spacecraft accommodated under the LV fairing.

The report studies the problems of simulating the spacecraft structure reaction to acoustic loads.

Comparative analysis has been carried out for the spacecraft reaction to acoustic and vibration loads at the levels corresponding to «Strela LV user manual». Based upon the results of comparative analysis the conclusion was made that the spacecraft structure reaction to vibration loads prevails over its reaction to acoustic loads.
