Teachers` readiness to use distance technologies as a guarantee term to modernize education

Abstract

In the article the issue of organizing special tutors` training for teaching in the system of distance education is examined. The lack of tutors or their insufficient readiness (professional, psychological and technical) to fulfill tutor`s activity seems to be the main obstacle in introducing distance learning in the Russian educational system. Identifying the level of teachers` readiness to fulfill tutor`s activity is the first step in the developing stages, topics and problem spheres of their training in modernizing process of the educational system of in Russia.
