Investigation of fluid flow in the gap between eccentric cylindrical and conical surfaces

Abstract

Performed a computer experiment for the flow of an incompressible viscous fluid under a constant pressure drop in an annular channel formed by the cylindrical and conical surfaces between the axes of which there is eccentricity. Based on the results established certain regularities and characteristics of the turbulent flow, and obtained an engineering formula to calculate the coefficient of hydraulic resistance.
