Abstract

Features of our country require a more active compared to the conventional world practice
of state activities to address regional challenges. State regulation of the economy - one
of the basic forms of state involvement in the economy of the regions. Russia's transition to
a new political and economic system demanded a deep reform of state regulation of regional
development.
