Abstract
Along with positive trends in the Samara region, negative factors affecting the
labor market are noted. The optimization of the number of employees at enterprises
due to structural changes in the economy of the region and the modernization of
industrial enterprises contributes to the increase of employment, but, on the other
hand, accompanied by the phenomenon of the release of workers leads to an increase
in the number of unemployed.
