Abstract
In the article the content of notions «service» and «service sector» is viewed. Nowadays active widening of service sector and correspondingly growth of number and types of rendered services takes place. In connection with this the classification of basic types of services is suggested. As a criterion of classification of basic types of services it is recommended to use a sphere in which the service is immediately given: in the economic sphere, in the social sphere and simultaneously in economic and social sphere. The organization of real economy and social sphere in the form of clusters is presented.
