Abstract
The article studies works in the alternate history genre. The plot of these books is «the fork of fate» of classic-authors who avoid death and as the result historic occasions move in new directions. Researchers prove that the figure of the author in the national culture is inextricably connected with discourse of power that testifies about the stereotype relevance of the central part of literature.
