Movie is usednot as a learning tool for illustrative purpose, and also it is data forcommunicative analysis which can help students in understandingcomplicated phenomena of communication studies. The authorpresents a description of phase-by-phase work with film adaptationsaimed at analyzing of different aspects of communicative interaction(verbal, non-verbal, paraverbal) and their interaction. The papersummarizes experiences of using three movies adaptations of aclassic novel by I. Ilf and E.
