<p>narrative in ontogenesis which has already been singled out by the</p>
<p>foreign linguists as a separate area of speech development. On the</p>
<p>basis of analysis of works by foreign researchers carried out within</p>
<p>the cognitive approach of modern science and the obtained facts</p>
<p>pointing to the importance of the childs mastering of mental</p>
<p>component of activity situation goal action outcome, as</p>
<p>well as the conceptual representation of oral history as a specific</p>
<p>form of discourse, the researcher offers a hypothesis about a</p>
<p>psycholinguistic mechanism of development of oral narrative in</p>
<p>ontogenesis.</p>
