Abstract
The originality and timeliness of this research is determined
by the fact that it is the first attempt to explore Nietzsche’s continuum
in «The Secret History» (1992) by a contemporary American
writer Donna Tartt. She presents dialectics of acceptance and
denial of the ideas put forth by the Zarathustras author that largely
determines the plot and poetics of the novel.
