Abstract

The paper deals with the analyses of power interchange of swirled fluid flows in a vertical hydraulic heat generator. Expressions are derived for the calculation of velocity and pressure distribution over its length and radius. The pattern of free and forced vortex formation is confirmed. Equations are obtained to calculate fluid heating.
