Defects of shrouded blade platforms of high-temperature gas turbines

Abstract

The article describes the defects of airfoil shroud platforms of the high pressure turbine of an NK-36ST engine for ground application and shows corrective actions for defect elimination. The structure of a light airfoil shroud platform that can increase the blade lifetime is introduced.
