Abstract

Through the observation of dramatic space transformation the article considers how Soviet authors of the first half of the XX century solve the problem of the relationship between the man and the world. It is proved that the development of Soviet drama is primarily determined by Gorky tradition characterized by the study of the laws of social life and human social behavior. The evolution of the image of the house, as well as the evolution of dramatic character, indicates a new value system created by the Soviet drama of the first half of the XX century. House loses its
individual features and «opens» to the world.
