Abstract

In the article the activity of State Duma and local authorities on enforcement of an antialcoholic policy of the government in the days of the First World War is analyzed. The introduction consequences of «the dry law» are considered. The estimate of relation to it of the Russian entrepreneurs, leaders of noble families and peasant households is given.
