Abstract

The article highlights the issues of measurement of intellectual potential, the author’s technique of assessment of intellectual potential with the introduction of an integrated index - knowledge index is suggested. And also calculations of knowledge index in the Russian Federation and in the Samara region for the period from 2003 to 2012 are carried out.
