Abstract

The article is devoted to the evolution of the concept of «value of money» in the period of Renaissance and early modern period, to the change of idea about the value of money, to the correlation of the value of money and other valuables in the societies of the mentioned times. The axiological and social and economic aspects of the value of money are viewed.
